A black sedan arrives.
Too late. Too deliberate.
One of Bennett’s men steps out.
“Family matter. Hand the boy over.”
Graham steps forward.
Not loud.
Not dramatic.
Dangerous.
“Turn around.”
A pause.
Then the man leaves.
Miles is still shaking.
But now he is watching Graham differently.
Not trust.
Not yet.
But something shifting.
