Adrian couldn't take his eyes off the ring.
It was unmistakable.
The Romano family ring.
The one he believed had disappeared forever.
Slowly, he looked at Elena.
"You told me our child was gone."
Elena's face turned pale.
She had spent four years preparing for this moment.
Yet now that it had arrived, she couldn't find the words.
Before either of them could speak again, Luca looked up at the stranger.
"Are you... my father?"
Silence swallowed the parking lot.
Elena closed her eyes.
The question she had feared for years had finally been asked.
Her voice trembled.

Without another word, the feared mafia boss slowly dropped to one knee in front of his son.
His bodyguards stared in disbelief.
No judge.
No rival.
No king.
No one had ever seen Adrian Romano kneel.

Luca looked at him with innocent curiosity.
