PART 10: THE CRYPTOGRAPHIC SEIZURE
Julian Cross’s smile faltered slightly, his sharp eyes narrowing as he set his whiskey tumbler down on a glass table. "What did you say?"
"You assumed that the master administrative keys were a static string of code that could be transferred or copied," Arya said, taking a step toward him, her charcoal blazer framing a face of absolute, unyielding dominance. "You assumed that because you stole my father's 2004 algorithms, you understood the architecture of the new network. But I rewrote the baseline variables three weeks ago while I was sitting in that New York hospital room."
Arya pulled her smartphone from her pocket, the screen already displaying a live diagnostic stream from the Munich central mainframe.
"The moment I walked through your front gates, your estate’s private Wi-Fi network attempted a localized brute-force attack on my device to steal the keys," Arya explained, her voice dropping into a cold, rhythmic cadence. "I knew it would. I coded a polymorphic honeypot into my phone's security layer. Your private mainframe didn't steal my administrative keys, Julian. My phone just uploaded a defensive worm into your lake-house server racks."
Behind Julian, the minimalist wall terminals suddenly flickered violently, lines of emerald-green code cascading across the screens at a blinding speed. A sharp, high-pitched hum began to vibrate through the floorboards as the liquid-cooling systems of his private servers began to override their safety parameters.
"What have you done?" Julian shouted, lunging toward a wall console, his polished composure completely shattering as he realized his entire digital empire was dissolving in front of him.
"I didn't just crash your system," Arya said, her voice echoing off the glass pavilion like a final judgment. "I forced your mainframe to execute a full decryption of every single offshore account tied to my mother’s name. The data isn't being erased, Julian. It’s being transmitted directly to the European Central Bank and the Southern District of New York. Within ninety seconds, your identity as the true beneficiary of Phobos Digital will be a matter of public federal record."
"You're destroying your own mother’s name!" Julian screamed, frantically typing into a corrupted console that refused to accept his inputs.
"No," Arya said, standing perfectly still as the server racks in the adjacent room began to smoke. "I cleared her ledger. My father's 2004 sealed archive contained a biometric watermark that proved her signature was digitally forged on those accounts two decades ago. The math doesn't lie, Julian. You are the only variable left in the equation."
The sound of shattering glass echoed from the front of the villa as the tactical unit of the German Federal Police, alerted by Marcus Vance’s automated data transmission, breached the main entrance. Heavy boots pounded down the slate hallway, their flashlights cutting through the smoking mist of the pavilion.

Julian Cross dropped his hands from the dead console, staring at Arya with a look of pure, unadulterated terror as the officers flooded the room, their weapons drawn.
Arya didn't wait to see the handcuffs click around his wrists. She turned her back on the ghost of her family's past, walking out into the cold Bavarian night where Marcus was waiting with the car doors open. The lights of Munich glittered in the distance, no longer a battleground, but a kingdom she had successfully defended with nothing but the truth.
